Anti-Spam Policy |
| |
|
Anagha Group has zero tolerance spam policy. Any
subscriber or user violating the terms of the policy
will be immediately terminated from using the
applications, services, products and web sites
without any refunds. Any illegal or policy violating
activities may be reported to the local, state, or
federal authorities. Anagha Group suggests best
practices for email marketing and related
activities. This Anti-Spam policy may be updated
from time to time. |
| |
|
Spam |
|
Spam is defined as
unsolicited commercial email (UCE). In other words,
if you send emails to those who have not given their
explicit permission to send the email, you are
violating the anti-spam policy. By obtaining their
opt-ins and following the anti-spam guidelines you
can avoid spam and be in compliance with the law. |
| |
|
Regulatory Framework |
|
The US federal anti-spam (also known as CAN SPAM
regulation) law was enacted in 2004 and provides
guidelines for emailing and penalties for spammers.
Several other countries have similar regulations in
their respective jurisdictions. |

Email
Lists |
|
LeadPro application
monitors the bulk import of email lists and outgoing
emails to look for patterns and history. If you are
importing the list from any other system, it is your
responsibility to make sure that the emails are
based opt-ins for the specific list or purpose you
are planning to use. |
| |
|
You should never buy or rent email lists from third
parties, though they might indicate that the email
address owners have opted-in. |
|
|
|
The email addresses should be that of specific
subscribers. Generic email addresses and
distribution lists are often not used for opt-ins,
since these email addresses may be used by multiple
people. |
|
|
|
Unless you have
received specific permission to send emails for
promotional and marketing purposes, the email
addresses can not be used in LeadPro. Email
addresses should not be harvested from lead or
customer databases, web sites, and business cards
without permission. |
| |
|
If you are using a list
collected before six months, it most probably is not
a live list and not considered as a valid opt-in
list. The permission should be recent. |
| |
|
Sending emails to
invalid or non-existing emails addresses also
indicate that the list is old or may not be an
opt-in list. Since leading ISPs block the IPs
originating or sending such emails, Anagha Group
views this a serious issue. This results in problems
for not only the customer who sent the emails, but
for other customers too. |
| |
|
Email
Contents |
|
The email subject line
or contents should not have misleading or false
contents. |
| |
|
Every email should have
a physical address so that the recipient can contact
the sender. LeadPro incorporates this information in
every email send through the system. Deleting or
tampering with this information is a violation of
the usage policy. |
|
|
|
Opt-out Process |
|
All emails should
specify unsubscribe information. LeadPro
incorporates an Unsubscribe link automatically in
every email sent via the system; this link can not
be removed. When the recipient un-subscribes from
this link, the email address is immediately marked
as opted-out in the database. This email address
will be excluded from all campaigns after this
point. |
|
|
|
If a recipient makes the opt-in request (such as
telephone, email or mail), you need to promptly
follow up the request and carry out the opt-out
request in LeadPro application within 10 days. |
|
|
|
Abuse
Handling |
|
For reporting any
suspected email abuse, please email us at
abuse@anaghagroup.com. Upon receiving abuse
information, the account will be suspended for
investigation. It is possible that some email owners
might forget that they have opted-in for a list and
file an abuse complaint reporting your email as a
spam. LeadPro stores the IP address and related
information of the opt-in record, which can be
verified. |
|
|
|
If the email address if
imported or manually entered by you, then there is
no verification data exists in the system. In such
cases the responsibility lies with you to prove the
opt-in by the email owner. |
|
|
|
Enforcement |
|
As Anagha Group has a
zero tolerance for spam, all new customer activities
and email lists are closely monitored and reviewed,
especially when the emailing volumes are high. This
may result in late delivery of your emails. |
|
|
|
Anagha Group places
restrictions of bulk import of email lists. Please
contact
support@leadpro247.com when you have questions
on this issue. |
|
|
|
The email content may
be scanned and flagged by LeadPro system for
suspension of the email campaign, until the issues
are reviewed and cleared with the customer. |
|
|
|
LeadPro email service
is meant for genuine businesses and organizations
that have established robust email opt-in processes
and follow the procedures. This service is not meant
for non-compliant bulk email blasters. |
